producing financial and economic models or developing commercial strategies?

We are a boutique technology and business consultancy with a worldwide reputation.  We are regarded as the leading independent analysts of waste processing technologies. 

In response to exceptional demand for our consultancy services we have moved to bigger premises and we are now looking to expand our team at senior level.

Our clients include some of the largest multinational corporations and major investment banks in Europe, North America and Asia.  We advise them on the technical, economic, environmental and commercial aspects of projects. A strong focus of our current business activities is Due Diligence appraisal of risks associated with the use of novel technologies for waste management and biomass renewables projects.  Core clients include investment banks, private equity funds, strategic investors and corporates expanding in this sector.

We are looking for the right person to help deliver our growth plans.  Your commercial background will complement the acknowledged technical skills of other senior personnel in the company.  You will be:

• Assessing companies growth projections in the context of our knowledge of market trends
• Helping clients to identify partners and potential acquisitions
• Analysing strengths and weaknesses of individual proprietary processes to meet market requirements in specific applications round the world
• Reviewing cost models, revenue projections and conducting sensitivity analysis to determine the competitiveness of systems
• Advising on market entry strategy in the context of your knowledge of these market sectors
• Reporting your findings and discussing them with our clients’ senior management team

Your career to date will have already demonstrated an ability in these areas.  You do not need prior experience in consulting, but you will have a demonstrated track record within one or more of our industry sectors.

It is very likely that you will have a degree or higher qualification (such as an MBA) but we will consider individuals with an outstanding career record who do not have relevant academic qualifications.  However, you must be able to demonstrate that you have the intellectual rigour to analyse and challenge assumptions and draw conclusions from your own analysis.
