Juniper can identify potential partners for acquisition or joint venture and carry out an appraisal of their business and financial situation. We also help companies with divestment strategy and the identification of potential acquirers for business units.

As a business consultancy, we seek to identify companies which are a business fit. The first step is a detailed examination of the market. We carry out a review of each company according to business criteria such as manufacturing capabilities, product range or market presence. From this analysis we draw up a list of companies that fit your strategic business goals. Financial analysis of possible targets, while important, is a secondary consideration within our methodology. As such we offer a different, and complementary, approach to that which would be adopted by an investment bank.

Once a potential partner is identified, we may act as a 'marriage broker' to facilitate the negotiation of the most appropriate partnership agreement. With our experience of different business cultures around the world, we can assist you with the negotiating process. For example, in our experience, US clients can be puzzled by the negotiating stance adopted by European companies and may misinterpret their more distant style as lack of interest. We help to bridge these gaps.

We have also established relationships with specialist sources of venture funding/buy-in capital in Zurich and London which can be called upon if appropriate.
